The adventure camera company GoPro has been wildly successful. It has built a market for the adventure photographer. GoPro has been a game changer at placing quality cameras in the hands of many adventurers at a reasonable cost. Frequently, these cameras are mounted to existing UAVs. The videos can be pretty incredible.
Now, GoPro has announced that it will be selling its own UAVs at price point comparable to other UAVs. If GoPro can expand the market the way it built the adventure camera market, prepare to see many more of these flying cameras in the near future.
